Wrington Bowling Club celebrated a thoroughly successful and enjoyable season with the annual prizegiving event at the very end of September.
No events were affected by the weather this year and more members than ever entered competitions, with over of those entering half securing a winners or runners up position in one or more of the various categories.
The President’s Cup, the season’s final event between the the various winners of the year, couldn’t have been a closer battle, but in the end the men retained the trophy for another year.
Next summer’s season begins on Captain’s Day, on Saturday 11th April 2026, and concludes on the the finals events over the the weekend of 22nd August.
